When we developed these new, extra heavy feeder rods with Berti Bovens we utilized his extensive experience in the competition scene. These rods feature a handle that combined cork and easy-to-clean EVA, a slim nylon reel seat and light but robust SiC-guides that allow fishing braided lines. On the joints, this XH feeder rod features a special anti-slip grip that helps to take apart the joints on cold and wet days. The 5 interchangeable tips are equipped with oversized single leg guides and make it easy to fish in most water and weather conditions. With the multitude of tips you can always select the most sensitive for any given situation so as to have best bite registration where ever you fish. Berti Bovens required this series to feature three of the most popular lengths so that it can be fished 
in virtually every river in Europe.

The 12ft is developed for casting feeder cages of up to 140gr over short to medium distances.
The 13ft version is probably one of the most popular and most allround river feeder rods with a casting weight of up to 180gr for medium to long distance casting.

The longest version is 14ft and especially developed for long distance casting with feeders up to 230gr. Designed for the big and fast flowing rivers in Europe where strong and heavy rigs and systems are required to keep the hook bait in place. The unique action of this rod was designed to have the correct doses of power combined with sufficient backbone to achieve long and accurate distances and secure hook setting too.
