The only way to use leadcore safely is by applying safe knots and loops on top. This allows to fish to lose the main line in the event of line break. The Strategy Splicing Needle features a fine but very durable lipped needle that is optimally suited for tying such knots and loops. An extra-long dilution on the shank makes lying loops smoother than ever. Also for soft bait types such as corn and luncheon meat this is a very handy tool.
