Although a scream from your bite alarm is always a welcome sound, chances are it would be fair to say that you’re not always at the top of your game in the early hours and the last thing you want to be doing is fumbling around on the bank. This is where the JRC Extreme TX Head Set comes in. This is an innovative carp net accessory that will revolutionise your night-time angling, enabling you to land huge fish with increased confidence.


The JRC Extreme TX Head Set is a torch that attaches to its own custom spreader block. The moment you pick up your landing net the light will switch on, illuminating your net and the area around it. This makes netting a fish in the darkest hours of the night easier than ever before as you’re able to perfectly see where your net needs to be. The light is vibration activated, meaning that you don’t have to waste time trying to locate an on/off switch whilst you’re trying to respond to the movements of an aggressive carp. When you set the landing net down after use it will automatically turn off (after a number of moments). This preserves the light battery and you never have to worry about accidentally leaving the light on during the daylight hours. The JRC Extreme TX Head Set comes with two light settings – white or red. The white light setting is ideal for the vast majority of angling scenarios but if you are concerned about spooking you catch you can swap to the red light setting.


The JRC Extreme TX Head Set is unique in many ways, no least because it comes with its own spreader block. This spreader block has been custom designed and should fit on most landing net handles currently available on the market. It is also the perfect size and shape for the JRC Extreme TX light, ensuring that the light is fully secured to your landing net at all times.
